Taco Bell Has Launched A New Churro Ice Cream Taco And Blended Drink

Taco Bell and Portland ice cream icon Salt & Straw are teaming up once again to give fast-food dessert lovers something to obsess over. Following the wild success of their limited Tacolate run, the duo is officially rolling out the Salt & Straw Churro Ice Cream Taco to locations nationwide. The sweet creation packs a cinnamon-infused churro ice cream into a waffle cone shell, complete with a dark chocolate coating and a sprinkle of puffed rice. Priced at $3.99, it marks the first time an ice cream taco from this collab is hitting regular drive-thrus across the country.

To make things even sweeter, the two brands are also dropping a companion beverage called the Salt & Straw Choco-Waffle Chiller. The sip blends a vanilla ice cream base with churro crumbles and waffle cone bits, finished off with whipped cream and a chocolate shell. Starting at $4.69, the drink is rolling out exclusively to select Live Más Café locations in spots like California, Texas, and Las Vegas.

The new items serve as a major upgrade for nostalgic dessert fans who were left heartbroken when the classic Klondike Choco Taco got discontinued a few years back. Taco Bell reportedly plans to keep the hype train moving with a special rewards drop on September 8, where a lucky few app members can snag limited-edition coolers stocked with the ice cream tacos. Both menu additions are available for a limited time starting today, so you will want to hit the drive-thru sooner rather than later.
