Tate McRae is having a WEEK. Her new single "Housewife" has officially climbed to No. 1 on the US Apple Music chart, giving the pop star another major win just days after dropping the track. 

Released on October 15, "Housewife" arrived alongside a cinematic music video filmed in the south of France. The track explores themes of independence, love, and refusing to be boxed into one role, with Tate leaning into a glamorous new visual direction for the release.

The timing is pretty perfect, too. Tate performed the new single at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on October 18, bringing "Housewife" to one of the biggest fashion and pop-culture stages of the year. The performance has kept the song in the conversation as it continues climbing the charts.

With "Housewife" now sitting at the top of US Apple Music, Tate's latest release is already making serious noise. The song has barely been out for a week, and the momentum is very much there.
